Decorating with 'Old Glory' for Flag Day

I love this time of year when flags proudly wave from front porches in a beautiful patriotic nod to our country.  A happy sign of summer.  I've recently begun decorating indoors with a banner or two.  This tattered and faded bunting has just the right amount of color for my summer mantel along with a vintage flag set in a piece of driftwood.

      Beachy....Summery....Patriotic....Country....Coastal....USA!

Check out this barn that Rachel Halverson decorated.
                                       It is awesome!
I love the casual way she hung the flag.

Are you one to use Old Glory in your decor?

                                  Happy Flag Day!

Just beautiful Roberta!... and yes, I love Old Glory always... I was raised in a very patriotic family, my daddy was a Colonel in the US Army and Old Glory always flew proudly at our home... I especially love all of the red, white and blue in Summer... I have already hung my buntings on my front porch... your mantel looks great!... Happy Summer to you!... xoxo Julie Marie

Beautiful flag mantel. I just wanted to let you know that I got my JDA mag this week and it was packaged so nicely that it was in beautiful condition. In the past they always arrived bent and/or torn a bit. So THANK YOU SO MUCH! I will continue to order from you.
