God IS in the Detail

Hello Sunshine!  Such a beautiful day by the bay and lots of good things going on here at the beach cottage.

I came home to a package that I've been awaiting for weeks. I've been super patient because I knew it was going to be sooo worth it.

It was wrapped with smooth twine around carefully tucked in black tissue and sealed with a wax 'g'   The presentation heightened the anticipation of what was inside.

My lavender cross bottles from Greyfreth

The smaller one has 'Paris' on it.  It's leaning a little bit but I couldn't love it more!

You HAVE to visit Isa's website, blog and Etsy shop. Her studio is magnificent and I could seriously set up a cot and bask in the heady candlelit room filled with crosses, old bottles and seashells.

So now...where to display them?

On the glass front cabinet in the dining room against the ironstone pitchers?

The driftwood shelf in the living room? hmmm, liking that too.

OR, the sunny mantel facing the front door when I walk in the house?

Tough decision..

Which one do you like?

Oh, and one other thing to show you on the mantel.
Kerrie's Sea Cottage sanddollar print in 'tide' finish.  I don't have a frame for it yet but I'm loving this too!

Found it in her Etsy shop and I love visiting her blog complete with the sound of waves and inspiring quotes of the sea.   Her blog is one that brings me right back to my Source.   I have a view of the ocean but can't hear the waves so I'm listening to it as I write this post:)

Well my friend, I'm off to get some work done on my website.  A brand new look is coming.  FINALLY.  I'm running about a year behind what my brain has been telling me to do.  Yikes.

I hope you are finding true contentment today.

Hi, Roberta! LOVE your cross bottles and number tags. Your mantel looks great! Congrats on your magazine feature. Isn't it surreal seeing your home in print? We're so blessed.

Hope all is well with you and your family. Take care.

Oh thank you Roberta...can I share this post on my blog? I love your driftwood shelf and mantel. I think I like them best on your mantel but they are both divine. And you know you don't even need a frame for the Pacifica Sanddollar...it really looks great in your mirror. BTW your print is in the original 'grey' not 'tide' which is softer and now my favorite.
