Jeanne d'Arc 'French Atmospheres' to be released in English!

Good news followers of the French/Nordic style of decorating.  The original 2007 Danish book has been translated to English
and is available for pre-order now to be released mid August.

I am always striving to blend this gorgeous French/Nordic style of decorating with my favorite seaside items!  A work in progress stepped up a bit since Fifi will be coming to photograph my home in June!  I'm almost done painting and the 'spring cleaning' is just about finished!
We'll see how my bleached seashells and vintage faded turquoise and purple bottles play with the French cafe au lait bowls and farmhouse linens!  Add lots of flowers, a chandelier here and there and I think it will be beautiful!  Wish me luck!!

Oh I hope you did not change the color of your bedroom from that beautiful lavender shade. That color inspired me to find the right shade for my "cozy nook" room, our breakfast nook turned into my "hideaway". My color is Benjamin Moore, Victorian Mauve, a beautiful cool grey lavender, neutral. Paired with BM Snowfall White and touches of crystals and silver and shades of purple it is stunning. So I thank you for the inspiration of your bedroom color and so hope that did not change. As for needing luck with Fifi's visit, you don't need it my friend. You are awesome and inspiring and it will be a fun, "piece of cake" time with Fifi. I just missed meeting her at Posh and Pom here in Florida due to conflict in schedule. Darn! Have to go check out Jeanne d'Arc, on a retirement budget now, sigh...Blessings and have fun with Fifi.

This is good news...I like to read magazines as well as look at the pictures, especially design books because sometimes I don't notice something that is being pointed out. I look forward to getting a copy.

A big congratulations on having your home photographed! I 'heard' that Fifi was writing another book...!

Just started to re~read your book to get ready for summer at the lakehouse. It's slow going but I have been able to mix a bit of the sun and sand with the traditional English Farmhouse look!! Sounds crazy, doesn't it?!

Happy Easter, Barbara!

XO,
Jane
