'Waterside Cottages' and the Beach Cottage

Well, by now you know that the book is out and it's better than I could have imagined! Here are a few shots I took before Dan showed up for the photoshoot which was the second time around so I wasn't as nervous! The deck steps off of the bedroom and it wasn't really planned this way but the colors are extended outside. I guess I just really love this combo!

I love this hatbox. 'The California Shop' New Bedford, MA. I'll have to show you more of it sometime. It has little Parisian scenes on it!

Playing around, not the finished product which appeared in a two page spread.

This is just a tease, you'll have to pick up a copy for more. (click on the book) There are a couple of beach houses in the book that I adore and since the photoshoot (a couple of years ago now) my beach house has gone through some changes reflecting a paler palette.

I love seeing the stages your back porch went through to get to the one shown in my book. Such fun. It's like being inside of your very creative mind!

Soooo very pretty. I love all the pink and it looks like it was set up ready for a tea party. Your view off the porch is just really so amazing. I can only imagine being able to go out in the morning (or any time of day or night) and seeing that view.
WOW!!!

Your home was featured in what book? Besides shells, I love books. I may even have it, if you say it's been out for a while. Photo shoots are a trip, aren't they?! Congratulations. You have a beautiful home. cheers, --susan
