Look what's keeping me entertained while a summer nor'easter blows through tonight. My new pouf ~ (picked that word up from my British son-in-law). Pouf!
Intense colors to brighten up an otherwise white and 'greige' room. I was in need of some depth and interest and here it is. It looks and feels like I'm well traveled...London, Paris, Marrakesh.
I've inspected each patch...
And here is my favorite. The faded teal with fancy purple stitches and gold sequins. Look at the batiking too. Oh, to have some serious yardage to drape my windows with!! Majestic~
Black accents have always been a favorite in my decor and it reminds me that it's what has been missing around here lately.

I so love a washed out room... but no matter what I do, color sneaks back in. Neat little pouf... you're right, it does speak of travel.
Happy summer day.
try as I might to keep my rooms neutral, color comes splashing in! Looks like it happened to you! Love the pouf!! ;-D

Hey Girls, 'Found' the pouf at Homegoods and yeah, it does take me back to my hippie roots too! I had a black bag w/ tiny mirrors sewn into the fabric back then. xoRoberta

Love the pouf. My mum always called them 'poufee's". She must have been into French things even back in the day, lol.
I seldom leave comments on blog, but I have been to this post which was recommended by my friend, lots of valuable details, thanks again.
